Issuing an Enquiry (Contract stage)

Introduction

An Enquiry (at contract stage) is a process that is generally used to obtain firm prices from suppliers for won project work (e.g project at contract stage). 

There are 2 main ways of creating an Enquiry (at contract stage):

1) Go to the project edit page and change the status to 'contract'

2) By re-issuing an existing Enquiry (that was run at tender stage).

Who can access this area?

You can create an Enquiry on LSC on any project where you have editing rights.

Some useful background information

The creation of an EOI, Enquiry & Award follows the same basic process on LSC, which is supported by the use of a 3 step wizard.

Step 1) Select +EOI/+ITT/+Award depending on what you wish to send

Step 2) Configure EOI/ITT

Step 3) Configure Process

Once you have mastered the three steps, all types of procurements follow the same process.

How to re-run a tender at Contract stage

Navigate to the project page, locate the desired work package where you will see the below

Select the amber 'run ITT at Contract Stage' and select the work package you wish to re-run. Then follow the same instructions as creating an ITT
