Introduction
An Enquiry (at tender stage) is a process that is generally used at an early stage of the project (e.g. estimating) to gain prices from suppliers for estimating / tender purposes.
There are two ways to create a tender
- Create a new enquiry
- Advance an EOI to an enquiry

Some useful background information
The creation of an EOI, Enquiry & Award follows the same basic process on LSC, which is supported by the use of a 3 step wizard.
Step 1) Select +EOI/+ITT/+Award depending on what you wish to send
Step 2) Configure EOI/ITT
Step 3) Configure Process
Once you have mastered the three steps, all types of procurements follow the same process.
Option one: Create a new enquiry
On LSC you have the option to skip the EOI process and go straight to tender stage. Navigate to the required project and select the +ITT. Like the EOI stage, it will allow you to select one or multiple trades.
If you have pre uploaded documents/folders to the project you can upload them to the work packages here, but we will look more into this later
Once you have selected your trade(s) and folders you can selected the amber ‘next’ button
This will give a breakdown of each work package. It is at this stage where you can upload individual folders to a specific work package by clicking on the document box.
Clicking on the supplier box will give a list of suppliers, you can filter the radius search distance as well as adding labels
If it this stage you are not ready to send the work packages, you can ‘save as draft ‘and come back later, or issue now. This can be done on a individual basis or all packages
Option two – advance an EOI to Enquiry
Once your EOI’s have closed, go to the project page, you will have the option to ‘start ITT’
The difference here is, those suppliers who have shown interest in the EOI will be automatically included in the enquiry (you do have the ability to not included if you wish).
Select the 'Start ITT' and select the work package you wish to advance to the enquiry stage (you can select multiple).
